Tim, Tim, Tim!!!!

Finally finished a couple of the projects from the Tim Holtz workshop in Roswell. I couldn't keep up and finish there - How embarrassing!!! Oh well...finally got two complete. Yippeee!!!!!!!

Jennifer's Class

Whew! It's been a long week! I'm taking an online card class with Jennifer McGuire. She is fantabulous! It is very technique-based and there's tons of information, tips and beautiful designs! Very inspiring for sure! I'm just learning how to do some of this stuff, so am just a tad shy about posting any of my work, as it doesn't begin to compare with others in the class, who are so much more experienced and whose work is beautiful!!! But hey...what the heck..I'm learning some new things...one of those being how to put this stuff on the computer...Here's some of the things I've been working on from the class. Don't laugh...I'm a beginner here! I'm wondering how anyone has time to do this blog thing...there aren't enough hours in the day! :)

Tim Holtz Extravaganza - He is da bomb!

Tim Holtz Weekend

My mom and I had the awesome opportunity to attend one of Tim's workshops at Imagine That Scrapbooks in Roswell, New Mexico. We had two full days from sun up to sun down with Tim and Mario...it was so much fun! They are both so gracious and humble..patient and kind! We had the best time together! My mom and I got to spend quality time together doing something we both love! Thanks to my dad for making it all possible for us! He is the best!

First Try

I have no idea what I'm doing as you can likely tell from this post! I'm taking an online class starting tomorrow, and had to figure out how to get some of my stuff on here- not an easy task for someone old and computer-illiterate; however, I think I have the very basic figured out.. Some of these are my first attempts at card-making. My mother has made cards and taught classes for years. I never could get into it, as I was sooo busy working and raising kiddos...As the boys got older and my life settled down some, I've been able to take some time to piddle here and there. I won't ever be as good as my mom, but I enjoy trying new things and playing in my little studio that my darling hubby made for me...I am truly blessed by him, my kiddos, and my new little hobby, each and every day!
